The 1st Place Prize in the 2nd TG Travel Green Innovation Competition Organized by THAI and Airbus




Students from Faculty of Engineering at Kamphaeng Saen (FE.KPS) have won the 1st place prize for the category of engineering designs for commercial aircrafts in the competition for eco-friendly innovations for aviation industry in the 2nd TG Travel Green Innovation Competition which was organized by THAI and Airbus.


On Friday 29th, July, 2016, Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira , President, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), and Ms. Marie-Louise Phillippe, Airbus Regional Sales Director, presided over the Second TG Travel Green Innovation Competition to announce and present prizes in the competition project of eco-friendly innovations for aviation industry consisting of 3 categories. Results revealed that the invention: “A Dust-collecting Process by Electric-charge- added and Saturated Cool Vapour” by mechanical engineering students from the FE.KPS won the 1st place prize for the category of engineering designs for commercial aircrafts. The students were awarded the certificates, economy class roundtrip tickets from Bangkok to Paris including a study tour of Airbus’ aircraft assembly factory in Toulouse, France. In addition, this is the only prize where its awardees are honoured by Airbus to present their invention before the Airbus’s executives and engineers in France in consideration of further manufacturing and use.
